Default Garrett PT67 or Master Power 70

This would be for a rear mount on an LS2.
Dont need more than 550-600hp.

I know the Master Powers have proven themselves time and time again, but i cannot find much info on the PT67.

Compressor Housing - Big TO4S .70 a/r, 4'' inlet, 2.5'' outlet

Compressor Wheel - 67mm

Center Housing (CHRA) - Standard journal bearings, oil cooled with 360 Degrees Race Thrust Bearing

Exhaust Housing - Garrett Grand National .63 a/r

Exhaust Wheel - Stage 2
Im just looking into the turbo world, sorry i have not done much at all with them before.

Still kinda new to the FI world but in my research I've seen the MPT70 proven time and time again like you've said. This is the turbo I'm going to be running shortly.

Well just to help you in your searching. The PT's are Precision Turbos not Garrett.

yeah you can, most out there are P's though

they are all still a straight finned wheel though

for instance a Q and an F1-68 are very close in dimensions but the F1 will flow alot more

MP is hard to beat for the money BUT, if your cruise theturboforums.com under the sponser classifieds VSracing is carrying another brand of turbos that are basically the exact same as a Masterpower but cheaper. VS is a big supplier of the masterpower and they compaired the two turbos and got identical numbers.

They are called Magnum Performance. They have a website also.

They are built in brazil and are supplied to VS through the exact same company. Only difference over the masterpower is a polished cold side.

VSracings intro price is... 629.99 for a T70,T72,T76 and if you want ball bearing its 999.99

Just givin ya another option to look into!

i would go with the precision the master powers just a few years ago were good not alot of problems but now they been having alot of failure rate and off ballance issues jose @ forced inductions was a big fan of these untill he was fixing the crap out of them or sending back to the manufacture in brazil so he wont deal with any more that should say it it self and the simple fact its an old p trim but im sure price is better and not all are junk aspecally if there the older version before company changed hands they even closed there wesite....
