Default intercooler piping

I am running 3" piping to the throttle body and am having clearance problems
between the fans and water pump I only have 2.5" of room looking for a way to notch the tubing with out hurting performance or does anyone make a
3" round to oval to round transition?

I have ovalized pipe by slowly running it though a press. You can also make an oval pipe by cutting a 2" pipe in half on a band saw, and welding in an aluminum strip between the halves.

wrap a cloth around the tube and it doesnt damage it one bit. you will have to flatten it more than you think you need because alum has a lot of spring back
