My friend and I (mostly him lol) fabbed this up over the weekend. 4" thick intercooler and it allows the wiper fluid tank to stay in place (meth tank). It is also up high enough where the bumper cover will wrap around the bottom of the IC without cutting it up. It's very lightweight since we used a chromoly roll cage bar and you do not have to hack up your stock bumper support.

how's that hood latch working for you, i've been wanting to hack mine off but i'd need to figure a way to latch the hood some how, it's right in the way of me moving my radiator forward even more
are you making plans to have some sort of support on the lower side of the IC?

Can I buy one? Seriously. Let me know a cost and I can have measurements to you tomorrow for the spacing of the top bolts. Not sure if all of the intercoolers have the bungs welded in the same spots.

My stock hood latch is still there in place this only replaced the front bumper support. The V piece I cut out was from when I had chrs1313 style ram air on my car. That doesn't really affect anything but now that I don't need the ram air I wish I didn't cut it out as its not in the way of anything.
We made the piece out of scrap material my friend had laying around so we would have to get more material. I can ask him if he wants to make another one.
Oh almost forgot, we are going to make some sort of mount for the bottom of the intercooler too.

If it's something you need right away I would go with the burkhart one as it supports the whole front end. Without having a Trans Am on hand it will be hit or miss as to if it fits correctly as it sits fairly close to the Camaro head lights. You ever dyno the PI head and Virginia Speed cam combo?

I haven't dyno'd the car yet, but it's fun. I definitely picked up power everywhere because after the swap, all my fuel trims went positive a good amount, in the range of 10-15 across the board. This spring I plan to go to a dyno day and see what it does. My guess is I'm around 475/425. The beautiful thing is I didn't have the heads milled, so they are still 62cc chambers which puts me at 10.5:1 compression ratio which is fairly safe for a mild amount of boost. It also turns out that the cam I have will do quite well also. WIN WIN.
I may just pick up the Burkhart since I'm not crazy about cutting up stuff on the car. I'd rather unbolt and rebolt up instead.
