Winter upgrades to the Tatershack 275 car
-"New" Ls9 heads from See5
-Virginia Speed VTC-4 Turbo cam
-Tear down motor and replace all bearings
-inspect/fix anything that needs it in the bottom end(rings/bearings/crank turned/etc)
-gear down to a 3.25 in the rear end
-New turbo(switching from S480 to TV8513)
-keep manifolds, but cut off 3bolt flange and install Vband setup
-Run new crossover to nose of car
-Build Aluminum DP to match and modify existing charge piping as needed
-Lay Radiator back to clear Charge piping
-Add Scavenger pump for turbo
-POTENTIALLY add Pyramid Ring setup from Camaroandreas.
Goals for 2011: 8's and 1000rwhp
Raceweight in 2010 was 3640 (51.6%F). Turned 7.5psi and made 640rwhp on e85. With that we went 1.41 60' 9.8@134. Looking to turn the proverbial whick up in 2011!
Many thanks for the guidance from Josh@KYturbo and the help of Carma and AEIcnc for getting me to where i am at right now!!! It's not easy making a backyard car a rocketship! But LOTS AND LOTS of Bud Light's help keep the friends around, haha. Also want to thank Adam Jude(Driver) and Brent Daniels(Crew Chief) of the x275 SN95 car for guiding us...and pushing us to "take the training wheels off". :-)

Thanks Chris!
I'm stuck on putting the turbo in the nose or just moving the radiator forward and mounting it where the old turbo was mounted.

From my best friend/Fab man "Tater"Tricked Out Toy
Also received the new cam from VAspeed. Ordered our new rear gear from Midwest Chassis. Special props to the guys at Midwest for the time on the phone figuring out the best gear for the car and for the FAST shipping from VA speed as well.

Build part 2 is starting to get serious!! We got all the stainless ordered for the new hot side, ordered the new aluminum for the cold side, and ordered the bellmouth for the front bumper! I hoping to get started on the fab work next weekend and have it complete for when the engine comes back from the machine shop. the only real thing we are missing right now is the new intake!

They are availible now. Not a cheap option, but reasonable when compared to o-ringing/double o-ringing.
As for the car, the motor is being taken down to the machine shop today. Turnaround time: "one week". We shall see, ahahahahaha.
Goal is to have the car back in the shop next weekend to begin fab work on the new hot and cold side. We plan on taking it to the Ls fest this year, will you be coming?

He was actually the cool one! He was playing "passtime" with the car guessing what he thought it would run. There was a few tense moments when he first showed up there. A prius owner called in the local, state, and FBI on our *** the first time we drove my car down the street. He was determined we were "staging" up to do a full pass on his street.....In reality at the time we were having trouble with the steering on the car and couldnt get the stupid thing turned around in his dead end (think 59 point turn to do a u-turn like Austin Powers, hahaha) there's a video of it somewhere on youtube, hahahaha.
When they showed up at first they were all pissed and we were all pissed they were on the property for no reason...then they cruised into the shop, took a look around and decided we were good people.
