Default Procharger F1-A on stock A4 LS1 GTO??

hi all

as i just said i'm thinking of going to a F1-A on the stock LS1 with cam and vic. jr. only .... but in the near future i will go 402 iron block .... so instead of going to d1 and then f1 with the new engine ... going directly with f1 and run it on the stock one till it blows up ... having this said my goals is 800+ on the A4 with the 402 ....

so what issues i have to consider(boost, fuel, etc) going with the f1 on the stock LS1 that it can handle ???

Thanks

With the largest blower pulley that will fit under the hood, you'd probably end up with 10-12 psi.

Run a small car wheel for a blower pulley and it might be ok lol The trans will most likely expire before the motor does if your tune is ok and you don't run more then 10psi or so. The CFM is much higher on the F series so 10psi on a F1A will strain the combo more then a D1 on the same boost. Good luck and have fun while it lasts lol

I sold a local customer an F-1A for his '04 GTO years ago. With a ProCharger 5.25 pulley on it the engine was still alive the last I heard. If I remember correctly he is making 9-10 psi of boost. Two fuel pumps T'd together along with 60 pound injectors is all you have to do for this boost level. Bob

if your getting to much boost just plum a waste gate in the tubing that's what I have done all last year
I had no vacuum lines hooked up to mine I just let the 10psi spring break lose for control on my car
