Default Turbo in battery location

Hey guys, I'm having a kit built that puts the turbo in the battery location and was wondering if anyone else has done this because I have a couple questions.
My main concern is the heat from the turbo melting the wires and distribution block. I plan on heat wrapping everything and running a turbo blanket but I'm still a little worried about the heat. Most guys have the distribution block right where the battery tray was but that would be very close to where the turbo is going. What do people do to prevent problems?

I had my T6 turbo in the battery tray of my Iroc, deffinitly put a blanket on it. You could cook eggs on my hood after a pull for fun!

I had a big turbo in that location before, no melting problems whatsoever.

I don't suppose you have a picture of where you ran your wiring? I'm a little nervous about this battery swap business to be honest.
Ha I'm throwing a 70mm turbo and 10-12psi of boost on my new motor and it's the battery I'm worried about

Im not running a dist block there. Just run a power wire down along the frame or in the cabin. If you run at the track youll need a kill switch, so that can act as a dist block.

Do you have any details on your setup? I actually searched some of your threads in particular but couldn't find much.

Im using the same kit in the pic you posted at the top. There are some details in my truck manifold thread but not many concerning the new kit. It was made by Hi-flo some years ago.

I was more thinking details as far as your battery relocation. Looking for details on what guys in our particular situation did as far as where the wires ran and where everything with the swap was located.

I havent ran the wiring yet but I thought of a couple ways to do it. All the grounds will just ground to a common ground, in this case the chassis. The only wires that really need ran back to the killswitch/battery are the alternator, starter(+) and fuse box(+). I havent had much time to get under the car and map out if ill be doing it under the car or through the cabin. Either way, itll end up at a 4 port kill switch.
