Also upgrading the 80lb injectors to 160's

Thanks! I think it will work well with the body lines of the car. I hope anyway. I hate picking color! waaaaay too many choices out there.

Do you think those new turbos will get you into the 8's.., and are you going to re-use the front suspension from the salvage nova,...I'm looking to get the new TCI tubular front clip for my 64 nova ss.

It went 9.32 @ 152mph with the 62mm at only 14psi with a crappy 1.57 60ft. I'm pretty sure it would have hit 8s before, but I only got a chance to run it once. I am going to re-use the heidts front end, but I'm going to upgrade some things like the swaybar and lower control arms.
That TCI pro-touring clip looks very nice! I was considering getting it for this build, but I cheaped out.

8s shouldnt be too hard, the silver car had a lot left in it, we could see that in the vids. as for that color, I dont think it looks as good in that picture as it will on your car, I dig it. Good call on the build in tubs, and last time i checked, Electricians dont have SpeedGlas hoods as always, looking great Frank! the good thing about doing it all over again with the same car is you can not make mistakes you made last time, and improve things you saw once it was too late, keep it up!

It has made life much easier having done one already! Now I know what I want to change or improve on. But I'm sure after I'm done this one I'll wish I did a few things different, just seems the way of the land for me.

Thanks. I may put the 80's up for sale once I'm all done. I try not to sell anything till my build is complete. If I sell something then sure as **** I'll need it for something else.

I've been a little slack on updates lately. I've been plugging away at the body work latelly. I hate doing it but It makes or breaks a car so it has to be done right. Here's some updates

final mockup of the heater and wiper assembly

Doors are blasted, epoxy primed and hung.

Got the dash modified for the radio and guages, blasted it, primed and welded in.

Had to fab up the filler pieces that go around the roll cage.

Here's the body work. Nobody likes to show how much filler is in a car, but if you want a car straight it's the only option. Pretty much skim coat the car and block it down. My garage is a dusty disaster right now!!

Deck lid is all fitted up and blocked now.

Got some cool parts in! Here is the hood i'm running. I'm switching over to a hinged hood this time.

Bling!
