I'm gonna run the billet 8079 ct-5 on my forged 364 lq9, tfs 235 build...picking it up tomorrow! I ordered it with the billet compressor, triple-ceramic ball-bearing, oil-less/water cooled and t4 1.32ar housing. Suppose to flow 133lbs per min! Goals are around 1000rwhp on e85 and 95% street driven. Can't wait to start on my build!

I just picked one of these up for my 80 Trans Am build that Unleashed performance is doing for me. I really liked the performance and ease of installation on Rob's Vette, so decided to go this route on my "Superman" build. Car looks like Clark Kent....should run like Superman :-P (hopefully)... lol

Its just a slightly modded 5.3. (heads/cam/intake) Nothing too special in it honestly. Really nice Turbo 400, and a 9" rear. I've got a fully built forged 370 ls2 to go in it when i really want to crank it up. I've been impressed with what i've seen out of the 5.3's though! Strong little motors!
Thanks,
Billy

If you wanna hear what a Comp rear mounted turbo sounds like on a cam'd LS1, a track video of the "shakedown" 10.89 @ 144 pass is now posted on the homepage of the website (link in Sig).

It's a 727cc. A full kit costs around $3500. No idea about the model....however, I've had nothing but problems everytime time I go to the dunes. The first one failed on my second ride and the replacement, which was upgraded, just failed on me this weekend. It seems like sand is getting in there some how....that would be the only logical reason because I've ridden it on asphalt with no issues (approx 30 miles). Peak boost was 19psi.

That's a S&B filter with an outerwear....the same filter is used on my friends 3-5 years old oil lubed turbo builds with zero issues. That's also the one that comes with the kit sold by the Comp dealer.

Talked too comp turbo awhile back and they have a upgrade where you just pump some grease in the turbo every so often . My truck is carb blowthrew and have probley 170 hours on my msd computer no spedo to record mileage, ran water lines frome heater core to turbo then back to motor
