single wh1c or h1c (like hx35) holset on a stockish ls1? I have a h1c, maybe a wh1c that I was going to use on a stock 283 and i'm thinking about sticking it on my ls1 with a ls6 cam and ARP hardware w/ 317s. Problem is, its hard to find specs on these things. The ex housing is a non wastegated unit thats t3 flanged and not huge like the other hx35 turbos i've seen/used. The ex outlet is 2.5 v band..finding holset info is driving me nuts! It seems to small but I think it should be ok to make 450hp with. And yes I'm talking one turbo not twins
any ideas?
Its going in my 66 nova (2700lb car) not gona take much power to have fun with
heres the turbo:
It looks smaller in the pics than it actually is. Supposedly I've heard it will be safe to make 500hp with, but wont pull past 5500rpm, and since the boosted ls6 cam cars fall off around that anyways, why shouldnt I use it?
any ideas?
