sorry could get too much help from the truck guys on this.
But i have an 05 silverado 5 speed 2wd reg cab short bed. Soon to be 70 or 76mm front mount turbo, intercooled around 550rwhp no NOS or meth yet.
Bone stock 4.8L V8. I want to get all my ducks in a row before the turbo.
List so far**
I was looking at a comp cams turbo cam GM GEN III/IV LSR™ Turbo Hydraulic Roller Camshaft
VALVE LIFT @ 1.7:1
ADV. @ .050”
HYDRAULIC ROLLER: Good responsiveness and excellent power when used with a remote mount turbo system.
2200-7000
54-480-11
277LTB HR15 277 273 227 223 .614 .610 115°
(I would also get bigger springs, roller lifters, new pushrods and all too)
*SLP roller rockers not sure if I should do 1.7 stock, or 1.8 or 1.85 setup??
*SLP HV oil pump (or other suggestions)?
*Stock Intake manifold but ported throttle body
*60 lb injectors
*electric ls1 water pump since everything will be off anyways
*Aeromotive 340 intake pump or the bosch 044 pump
*Stock heads, I may just leave them on the block. If I remove them then I will have then cleaned up and maybe a small angle job on the valves plus install APR head bolts plus a good felpro head gasket.
