Link didnt work. But if you search nelson racing on you tube there is no shortage of videos. Pages and pages of 1000+ hp street cars........walk arounds and street tests, and there done. Period.

Of all the cars, apparently the only one to ever find a race track is the supra.....I d like to applaud that guy.

I m shocked......1450 hp up for 3 days......and only 4 posts?

I m curious too......of the price, the build, the results. I cant wait to hear how it does in phoenix. Im curious about a few other things too.

1. no ac?
2. no power steering?
3. No abs controller or any oem engine compartment wiring?

Who cares about the idle if the ac, ps etc is gone.....

why 4 bolt heads? when the intake was probably 8000 dollars?

He oggles their custom fabbed stuff in the 8 and 10 minute videos without actually telling you anything about the motor itself. They are targeted at a mass media type audience instead of enthusiasts like us. I haven't seen where any parts specs have been given on this motor. You could probably call them and they would tell you.

I think its about 30k for one of their ls motors. You could definitely build one for cheaper yourself.

Chevy chad is correct, I dont know what I did......

I think they 4 bolt head buick and the ls 4 bolt head though are very close it limits if you consider the differences in bore size and number of cylinders though..

I notice that the one in the video is a rather large (coverted air to air maybe) liquid, that is probably being fed outside cold water. I would love to see the iats.

Looks like the cowl and the hood have to go as well.......The 5 th gen has the engine alittle under the cowl, I dont think that intake id making it. Where are pictures of it in the car, that would tell some, I might be totally wrong.

I went to Nelson's shop one time before he got big in the mags and picked his brain for an hour. Basically he spends tons of dyno time figuring things out for himself. So he spent the coin to figure out what works. From my discussion with him, he used to ask ITS what turbo to do x on y engine and got mixed or poor results. The 1500 hp twin 72mm gen1 427 is the result of him giving up on asking others. (and the 2 58m turbos collecting dust in my garage I got cheap) The 427 mule was on the dyno when I was there. He orings and copper gaskets his motors along with a special "glue" for the gaskets. The glue process was out lined during the F bomb build iirc. Tom's just like a lot of vendors, buy some of his stuff and he will answer a few of your tech questions. I even got some free cam info out of Duttweiler one time just before they politely hung up.

I think this might be the build that is in either Car Craft, Hot Rod , or CHP I can't remember. I do remember the engine they built in the mag had cncd factory L92 heads, and an Oringed LSX block. They didn't talk about the Orings but you can see them in the pic if you look close.
