FWIW, I wouldn't even think about driving all that way just to watch me scatter parts on the track. Wait for the rear end, built motor, and -oops- I almost gave it away....

Interesting results, thanks for sharing.

Would you share how much timing at WOT you are running above 5500 rpms?

No problem. 16 degrees from 4500-6000, then I pull a degree at 6000.

I'll be there anyway, seeing this car will be a nice bonus though.

And what is the oops? I'd be tempted to say sequential tranny or something equally cool/unique, but if you goal is a "budget" minded buildup, I really have no clue.

Guess I'll have to wait!

Nope. Not gonna drive 1600 miles to what appears to be a shallow turn-out. Especially since we haven't finished the rear end yet. Long way to go for possibly only one pass....maybe less.

We are going to try and be at the LS1Tech Texas event though....

I have a question about your a/f graph. Did you put the lean spot at peak torque on purpose or is that just a function of the alchy system and your fuel setup. A little extra heat in the exhaust never hurt a turbo!

Yes, the lean spot is intentional. To be clear, it's not really "lean", just "leaner"...
