Default L19 head studs, who wants them???

Here it is.....we have a chance to get L19 head studs again. I need to get some interest in these to get them ordered up. Depending on how many people we have showing interest will determine the price of these studs. Let's get this going, who's in?

Thanks,

I've been thinking about new head gaskets which would make head studs a good thing to pick up. Can you give me a break down on how these head studs are better than the rest and let us know the cost. Thanks,

Mike

Kyle,
They are the same studs as PSJ are running. You would not have to do anything to the block, they are a direct replacement.

Buschman, these are a hgher tensile strength stud, which in turn will make them harder to stretch and less likely for you to blow a head gasket.

I'm interested but, only if you can get the price down to "mere mortal" level.

Thanks

The l-19 is a 260,000 psi stud. The thread pullout on the weakest thread is 170 ft lb.

These will only be tourqed to 100-110 ft lb.

I'm new to touching the internals of the engine, but I had no idea head studs were so much money. I shutter to ask what a thicker head gasket goes for?

Regular studs run 225.00 for these engines. For only 200 more you get twice the resistance for the stud to stretch.

Mike, I am going to use these studs and i am using Stock 6.0L MLS head gaskets with my 6.0L heads. I believe i paid under $60 bucks for them. There the same gaskets PSJ and Harlan are using.
