Default Cooling setup for procharger

What kind of cooling setup is everyone running with a procharger. Reason I ask is since I swapped out my dual fan for the single, the cars heating up now and this never happened before no matter what the temp was outside. I'd like to add another fan but would Like hear what some of you other guys are running first.

I have a custom front mount that restricts airflow a great deal more than the stock setup, so my case is extreme. That being said, I added the 9" Spahl fan that people usually talk about on here up in the corner of the shroud, and that didn't do much for me. I took my car to a shop and had them cut the top radiator support and then had a custom radiator built that is much thicker, wider, and slightly shorter. It is stood up more than the stocker and has two 12" fans on the back that are very powerful. I run straight water and Red Line's Water Wetter. Still the car gets kind of warm (220*F+) with the AC on in the summer.

I have an aftermarket 16" puller (not the one procharger provides with their kit), an 8" puller, and a 12" pusher on the front of the condenser. I also have a 3" griffin radiator. The radiator rubbed on the inlet hat of my procharger tho, so I put the stock radiator back in for now. Rather than fixing the griffin one, I picked up an LT1 radiator to replace it with. Still have not put it in tho.

Fluidyne rad, stock fans, EWP, 70/30 distilled/rad fluid and water wetter. Cool as a cucumber even in extreme heat.

I'll bet the fan is wired backwards, which is very easy to do. You should not be having any hot engine temps unless you're in traffic on a hot day with the a.c. on. Bob

Yea I agree bob but I only drive the car once over the winter to get it tuned but it still had the twin IC at that time.( temp was in the teens) Correct me if I'm wrong but if your sitting in the car the fan should be spinning clockwise?

I'm guilty of this... I drove the car home from the tuner and hit 245*F before stopping and realizing the fan was spinning the wrong way. This was, of course, the first few miles after putting the blower on the car.

Just required a little massaging, esp w/ the 12 rib setup.

Distilled water has a higher boiling point and doesn't corrode.

Was the 16" fan a spal or flexlite? I like the idea of the 12" pusher on the front of the condenser. Got some room to play with there

I'm using stock ls1 radiator, single Spal 16" paddle fan, do a search I have given the part number many times, and an 05+ corvette water pump. The car never gets above 200 even in the Texas heat.
