Default how must boost can i run?

6.8l ls3. 9.8:1 compression ratio. completly forged motor. wonder how much boost can i saftly run?

LOL better yet, what turbo? 30psi on a 66mm turbo is not the same as 30psi on a 100mm turbo.

trick flow heads, 93 octane. T-72 turbo. once this car hits one 1psi of boost it just goes sideways. its crazy. lol

A T72 is very small for a 6.8L. You're going to run into back pressure problems for sure. You'll also run the risk of pushing that turbo too hard. I'd keep it under 8psi if it were me until you get into a much bigger turbo.

well i had a t60 turbo which worked well, this t72 has 102mm compressor wheel, 1 inch bigger than the t60.

I believe the back pressure would lie with the turbine sizing, not the compressor. That has to be an odd looking turbo with that sizing...

so its like a 412ci?? my 404 was 6.7l

your compression ratio is higher than mine and I had a bigger turbo: 76GTS

My car spooled up super fast, but it wouldnt really make more power when we pushed it past 15ish PSI.... i think you are going to have some trouble with bigger motor, more compression, and less turbo.
