Default turbo recommendation for daily driver.

Im looking for opinions. Heres what i want to do, ive got a 65 catalina that id like to put either a 5.3 or 6.0 ls motor into. Id like to set it up for a single turbo. Just to be unique, i know ill get flagged by the hardcore pontiac crowd for getting rid of the 389.

I would like to make 500 wheel hp and a **** ton of torque(its a rather large car lol). what size turbo whould you all suggest and brand. ive kinda got my mind set on a master power or borg warner. i want to do this on a stock short block and keep reliability.

this car will be a strict daily driver with maybe one track day just to see what it can do. so the turbo should be on the small side and make peak power around 6k or earlier. its a very comfortable car to drive and all i want is a cruiser. thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Im doing a 5.3 with a T70/LS6 cam, should spool quickly and peak around 5500 or 5600.

That's just retarded. Isn't it they're best selling unit? To the OP 6.0 and MP 76mm qtrim would work excellent and allow room to grow. Boost is addicting!

I want to josh, I just dont have that kind of money. I spent 625 on mine and plenty of guys are making over 500 with it. I would love to have your hotside too but its way out of budget

i have no complaints with my stock lq4 and master power 76. it spools instantly and makes gobs of tire smoke i have no idea how much power it makes but it's more fun than my mid 11 second gn.so call rob at modular he will hook you up. find a clean motor and put the old poncho motor on a stand, find a good overdrive tranny and rock it.
