Wut would I be looking for after measuring the turbine radius?

I want to figure out what the cross section at the throat right before it opens up around the turbine.

I agree and that's what I thought, but why was there still crazy pressure even with the Turbo removed? I think it also matters where the restriction is as far as distance from the exhaust ports. Like if you had a full length header as opposed to a Shorty.

So how much pressure was in the pipes runnign them with the turbine housing removed?

With the 68mm turbine wheel on that TC78, I'd run the 2.5" and go biggish on the WG strictly for boost control purposes.

It was around 12 Psi in the crossover at peak rpm. This was just a one time jaunt around the block with the hood removed. 2.25 straight pipe is one thing, when you figure in bends and such things change. I'd go with 2.5 and squash the pipe a little if clearance is an issue.

And that test was done after I upgraded to a pt76gts from a t72q and still had crazy pressure.
