142mph on junkyard 5.3 .....
Not really, was just driving it and recently pulled it down to redo some stuff on it for this year, going to run the dual fuel(so can drive on 87 octane), add p/s back to it, new a/c lines, etc etc. I'll run it mostly on true radials this year and just keep having fun with it.

Just saw the replies, we put most of the setup in maxxmitchell's 3rd gen firebird for this year. I picked up a fox that we built for some true radial racing(9.56 at 159 on some mud/snow tires so far). The ltd just sits right now, I'll get motivation to mess with it later this year, been having too much fun with the mustang.

Hey Skinnie Im putting an 05 cast 5.3 with 799 heads in my car to really try an stand on.. Im new to these motors an you seem to be the man with them for sure.. Any advise on ring gap,Rod bolts,head studs/Gaskets? Gonna be running E-85 with a Haltech engine management..
