I've been racing my mustang and since we put the setup in my maxx's car I haven't touched my ltd. I am going to get back on it later this winter and get it done for next year with a few upgrades.

Sadly I haven't touched it again, been trying to get my mustang done for spring.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...uilt-year.html

I just don't have room in the garage for the mustang, the ltd, and other builds right now.

If you want the strongest possible stock motor 2005 and newer... they will all have the stronger rods and floating pistons i believe

It's coming out of storage back to my garage next week, no big plans as of right now.

What trans were you running initially, and how did you like the glide with the weight and tall rear end ratio in this beast?

Also, any chance of being able to re-host some of the pics like the hubcaps and wheelchair pic for those of us who missed them?

I don't think I've ever seen a sleeper even in the same ballpark as this. Too bad the pics won't load.

I myself would still really like to see the turbo placement and everything associated with it. Oh and that 6 muffler exhaust lol.

Im guessing the turbo is somewhere in one of the fenders like how you did the twins on ur foxbody.

Many would like to see how we did the hidden kit, I don't have any pics of it tho. It is in one of the fenders.

th400 then glide, I liked the glide with the 2.73 gear, ended up with a 3.08 rear when I switched rear ends. Works great on the street. I'll try to get the pics uploaded again.

Thanks! I'm always surprised to see how much people with heavy cars really like their glides, and then it's also cool to see how many miles they put on them with a tall rear end gear so the freeway revs are reasonable.

Is yours a 1.76, 1.82, 1.80, or what do you like? Maybe the first gear doesn't matter so much for street/no prep racing with a turbo?

I've always liked this car, and eventually built one for myself (In my sig). I didn't/wasn't able to hide everything in the engine bay as you did, but I'm still happy with the results. I did an L92 w/ an S-480 with a full 4" exhaust and an 80e transmission. I've only been 10.8's @ 131 on 11#'s (only 1/4 passes on the car yet). Thanks for the inspiration.
