I meant how you did the turbo kit. My bad!!

And who cares what people think is and isnt a street car!! Doesnt matter if its a race car with a inspection sticker. If its something you will see driving around on the streets or something that you will end up pulling up next to on the street its a street car. People just make excuses for losing. Everyone chooses what they want to build. If they want AC/PS/BOOM more power to them but they need to understand thats there choice and extra weight. If they want to win...make more power

I love your car!!!

I have a 86 coupe with a LME LSX440 sporting twin billet 71's thats about 85-90% finished. After playing for sometime that motor will retire in my dads that will be mine 82 MERCURY COUGAR GS wagon.

Whats funny is most people pick a sleeper that has some kind of potential to look good. Your car sir has no potential to look good LOL. awesome job on the swap looks good. No if you really want to impress us make that thing look good. 143 is screaming, I am a little jealous of your ltd though

It looks like you ran the piping through the fender? But where the hell is the intercooler you mentioned? That's so sick.

The gt2-3 cam in the car, is that the same cam you are running in the rx7 or are you running something different in the rx7, if so do you mind posting some of the specs?

Specs you can find online on the cam, yes same cam that was in the rx7. I'm running a ptc 3000-3200ish converter, it's WAAY too tight, but I'm not going to send it back as I don't want to pull the transmission out. Intercoolers are hidden under the front of it and turbo is in the passenger fender.

I figure if I ever get tired of it the car I'll swap everything over into a mustang, should swap with very few minor changes.

I've still got to get some custom lines made for the a/c and get that put on also.

I'm not sure if the precision picked up over the tc78, but it SHOULD.

Man, screw that about putting it in a mustang. Leave it in the LTD it will fool people for years to come. Hell, bring it down here I will get you some street races and we can bring home some $$$$$.

I must admit...that was a pretty sweet plumbing job on that thing. Glad I got to see it while it was still "in the works". Love that engine bay shot.

Building part of that car was a blast and a PITA at the same time, but we got everything to fit and it did a great job with its first out of town debut and track visit. Even the local guys are still up in the air on if it is really turbo, or a hidden nitrous set up, or both lol.

Best thing is racing a guy on the street, having him swear up and down that he heard something, get back to the parking lot, pop the hood and see the look on the guy's face.

No reason it shouldn't get in the low 1.4x range leaving on the tbrake and enough seat time.

You'd have to be half retarded to think its a na/n2o car after the burnout lol. That turbo is LOUD! But the exhaust is silent. Maxx tried pullin the "its a direct port setup" on me, lol.

Skinnies this is Jeff Z if you haven't gathered, I worked 17ish hours yesterday so needless to say I never got those vids up when I got home. Ill try for tonight. Workin in the field ATM
