Forced Induction Head Gasket Recomendations Here Please

I am just getting in to a cam swap before I bolt on the new D1SC kit. I have everything in front of the motor off except the timing cover and am wondering if I should go just a little farther with the tear down and swap out my head gaskets from a Fel-Pro Q1041 to a Cometic TFS-30694030-051 - Trick Flow® Cometic MLS Head Gasket w/ .051 compressed thickness.
Currently my compression ratio is right around 10.46:1 w/ my Fel-Pro gasket @ .041 compressed thickness. I would imagine that the extra .010" would help lower the compression ratio a little for my boosted application. Plus I would think that the multi-layer steel gasket would also be stronger for the boosted application.

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't hurt. I've used both and liked them. As long as you have it that far down my as well check them out and put a new set in.

If you're running a 4 inch bore, try the Zr1 gasket. I love them.

A better move would be to swap out your heads for a set of 317 truck heads and the .051 6.0 gaskets. That will get you around 9.5/1

A little drop in compression couldn't hurt. I've been running the same cometic at the below power level (15-17 psi) for the last 7 years without an issue.
