finished it up mostly today.
put 10 miles on it, topped it off with E85, needs alignment and dyno tune next week.
rides good, needed to adjust some exhuast hitting rear coils, but not much else, very smooth with a base tune, really rich when getting into boost.
Installed new wheels as well, but need to order up some 275's for it, radials are gonna get killed on the street pretty easy.
Working until monday, then dropping off for tune tuesday.

well, she is all tuned for now.
runs good, ended up at 603 on 11psi on a mustang dyno.
converter's too loose and ran out of injector/pump
its a good start so far. I have some vid's I'll throw up in a bit here.
Thanks to Carl( CJtunes ) and Nate ( LS1 NOVA) for a good time at the dyno.

Some pics as it was finished.
Finishing bleeding brakes.
Just dropping it down on the new wheels
Out of the garage the next day, my dad helping finish it up before hauling it to the dyno
Still needed alignment, and need rear spacers for rims, too far in the wheel well on the rear. The rims a 18x8 and 18.9.5 with 245 and 275's
The stance is just about perfect, will take a bit to get the new springs set in, it might need another height adjustment after that
My dad filling up with the good stuff ( E85)
the first 5 miles on the car
The best photo yet.
I will get some more pics this weekend and maybe some gopro/drift HD videos of some WOT pulls.

Updates:
Installed new Fuel Pump- Magnafuel 4303- thanks nate for the reccomendation
Installed LS1 front and rear disc brakes
Installed Eboost2 60mm Gauge Boost Controller
I am working on getting the boost back up, aiming for 15psi, and calling it a day until the bottom end gets built, or someone else convinces me it will last if i go higher with boost.
I have some more pics of the brake install as well, I'll get them up at a later time.
Burnout Video for your viewing pleasure.

That is a sick build! You don't see many well done chevelles with the turbo set ups. You have a very good build thread. I would like to figure out a way to do the coil packs like you did. I think seeing the Pro Flo intake and the valve covers without the coil packs is what really makes it look nice.

The coil packs were pretty easy. I just used some threaded rod and put them in a tight bank together, and made a bracket to bolt it to the frame below the manifolds. I also made sure i could use the stock truck wire lengths so when i needed new wires, i could just ask for stockers, rather than doing custom ones again.

I guess I havent updated this thread at all.
July 2012,
I took it back on a dyno. After getting the boost back up a bit with the fuel pump I took it out to a dynojet for some #'s before Car Craft Nationals. I entered the Real Street Eliminator competition, and wanted to see what kind of #'s it would put up before the day.
I did 3 pulls, 1st pull was the best, 2nd pull I attempted to lock the TCC and it slipped, then the third I didnt get into the gas fast enough.
This was on about 15.5 psi Boost
767HP@6400RPM
here's the chart:
It still seemed to make power if I would have spun it more, but I'm trying to keep the stock motor alive still.
Here is a pic of my nephew skyler after the dyno. we drove it to the dyno and back home thursday before the show. He was very excited to ride in it.
Went to CC for the weekend with family and friends. Here we are waiting our turn for the dyno challenge portion.
1st pull the tires spun on the dyno. They strapped it down a bit tighter and added some belt dressing to the dyno rollers. Backed up yesterday's pull of 767HP with a 765HP pull on this dyno. I was top Hp for the day friday and saturday as well as winning the RSE dyno portion.
Video, kinda uneventful really,
I then spent some time working on the launch box and autocross all weekend.
Some pictures taken, some from the QA1 guys.
Ended up placing 4th in the autocross despite it being my first time ever. I also had some issues with the power steering boiling fluid and ended up burning the pump up as the weekend progressed.
here is one of many videos we took during the weekend, the rest can be seen on my youtube account as well.

We had a great time, met a bunch of cool people and placed pretty well considering it was our first time out with the car. We trashed it pretty good! We came home with a couple extras from the show as well.
Next up was prepping for the dragstrip for some shakedown passes..... Hopefully in the next couple days I can caught up to current day with the car.
thanks for reading,

The alternator bracket is a custom piece I mad to relocate where the A/C Compressor was. I used ebay adapters, and the short wide SBC mounts 68+ chevelle frame pads, but I also spaced the engine up 1/4 inch with plates under the frame pad and the motor mounts.

Great build. Nice power numbers too.
Lots of nice work. Thanks for all the pics. Good motivation for me to get back to work on my 68 Camaro. Single turbo added to an all iron 427 big block until funds allow an upgrade to an LS3 based stroker build. Wasn't sure I liked the looks of the Edelbrock intake until I saw one on your car. Now I'm torn between the Holley High Ram and the Pro Flo XT.
I had a 67 Coupe and a 66 Elky for many years. Always wanted to put the 66 front clip on the 67 body tub. Best front end with the best tail lights. Too bad they never made one that way.
