I am going FI and was told I need the GM 3 Bar map! I looked up the part number on LS1tech but when I got the part it looks diff then the one I have now.

I want to mount it in the same location as my other one but can not figure out how to do it!

I think I just cut the tabs off one side so it would clear the back of the intake. It's been a while though...

You realy cant mount it in the same location as it is a different shape.
i left my old one in there to make sure that hole is plugged and just came out a dedicated vacuum hole/line.

you can use 12215049 and it is a 3.3 bar off the duramax. plug and play with the exception of trimming the tabs off one side

I am not the best person to answer this and those who know please correct me... But from my knowledge the 2Bar is good for up too 14PSI (215KPA) and the three bar is good to I believe 29PSI (305)????? I just recently switched to 3bar...

And also from my knowledge being limited. The 2bar is better to street tune than the 3bar. So if you really dont need the 3Bar just go with a 2Bar...

There is a ton of info on this topic over in the tuning section.... Or HPtuners forum..

thanks for the info. i think a bar is like 14 psi so that sounds about right assuming that the 1 bar is for no boost and so on.
