well after changing my downpipe to the 5" out the bumper, i could no longer control boost at all. first time out, it hit 20psi almost instantly. tried changing my gate angle but it only brought peak boost down to 17psi on the 10lb spring. Just picked up a new Precision 66. If this thing doesnt control, I dont know what will





The car also finally got 10 pointed and a chute, so i will legal at the track this year. Hopefully I find that 8 sec pass this year

what size was the gate you had. Hard to tell from the pics but it doesn't looke like your waste gate placement it the best for controlling boost

turbosmart 50. it defiently wasnt, but i re-angled it and it didnt make much difference, I think it needed to be on the backside of the merge in order to control.

MSD 2-step. I left at 3900 which was about 8-10psi and it went 1.32 60'

That wastegate setup looks like it will control really good dschimittie.

I bet when it hit 20 it was insane lol I like that wastegate its gotta be perfect for the set up. I'm running two tial 44's i was thinking one 60mm but figured two is only a little more expensive.

4" downpipe probably wasn't choking it much. Fireball was making around 1700hp with his 4" downpipe on a 98mm.
