01' camaro s88 build....Updated w/ Dyno #'s..Track Results!

went to the track today. decent weather with a little head wind. had high hopes for an 8 sec pass.
Track prep was terrible all day. started off and couldn't hook up at all. loosened up the front all the way an tightened the rears down a little and got it to 60 Ok but would spin about 100ft out as soon as some boost came in. Ended the day with a best pass of:
1.48 60'
5.864@123.87
9.046@153.53
Still got out of it a little at the begining of this pass but ran it all the way out. This was all on PUMP GAS 93 and around 13.5psi of boost. Need to put a stiffer spring in the gate to get any more boost out of it. Ran 5 passes between 153/154 MPH. Guess I'll have to wait till next time for an 8
TrickrTreat came up too and ran a couple 9 second passes as well.

Nice runs LS1Curt! Sucks to see that you didn't get the 8 finally, but it is definitely there! Car looks awesome!
I think I already asked this, but are those 325/50/15 MT DR's?

Really impressive run considering the 60' time. If you get a well prepped track and a 1.3x short time, 8's will be a piece of cake. Thing is running awesome on just 13.5#!!! Can't wait to see what it does at a higher boost level, keep us posted. Congrats!

Thanks, I was very happy with it considering the conditions. Will do.

I was expecting weight to go up after the 10pt install. How did you manage to pull that one off?
Can't help but love faster ET's with less boost. That exhaust and converter brought out the beast.
Looking forward to setp-oct 8's.

Hey, let me be the first to congratulate you on that >8.99 pass.... It's only a matter of time!
Quick ??
Not sure if you mentioned it but what converter do you have in there now? Same 9.5" Restalled? I ask because my project (if you can call it that... more like a neverending story with atreu on that silly dragon laughing and pointing at me. )
..anyways, I currently have a restalled (3200rpm) SS converter from Yank. Originally it was a SS3600.
Also, are all these runs on straight pump?
Thanks.

Thanks. The 9.5" was maxxed out so I ended up switching to a 10.5" py3400 converter from Yank. Yeah straight 93.

Update:
Over the winter we decided to pull the motor out and replace the headgaskets and check the bearings. The oil pan hasn't been off since the motor was built 3+ years ago. The old headgaskets looked perfect and the rod/main bearings all looked fine as well. Looked like the main caps were walking a little but the bearings still looked good.
Also decided to redo the hotpipes. This time around I welded v-bands to the manifolds and built the hotpipes out of 2" 304 stainless per Phil's recomendation. Car spools much faster with the smaller pipes. I will be measuring backpressure soon as well.
