Anyways, yeah, I just like the look and instant power of the maggie and its simplicity. 550 is all I am really going for but f@ck it 600hp would be nice...

Oh, I have 1 7/8" SS Kooks and TRUE dual 3" exhaust...
No doubt, just looking ahead.500hp is awesome for 6 months, then you want 575... the 650.... etc etc. Haha

I know it is a lame question but I've been running my F13 (Futral 230/232 on a 112+2) for years now and will miss the **** out of that sound of it loping through the true duals...

Thanks everyone!
Epp blower cam would be my choice, proven and sounds awesome. I would budget about 300 for it, worth it imo though.

a 112 is a small blower. theres to real need to run an lq4 for lower compression. PD blowers are more forgiving on compression than say a centri or a turbo. an lq9 would be more ideal i would think. dont waste your time with a ls9/ls6 cam on a 6.0. virginia speed has a decent set of blower cams, you could check etmc as those cams are specd aroung PD blowers as well. or even hit up pat g for a custom specd one. ive seen 112s pushed to around 570wheel, but i dont think ive seen much more than that......

A roots blower is a positive displacement blower.

OP, I would check out performance trucks, there all kinds of maggie setups over there, I think most of them think its too small for a 6.0L, but they may just be greedy

A M112 is not a positive displacement blower. Its a standard roots. Your friends are thinking twin screw. That being said, truck guys are having good results from slightly higher compression under a roots. The cam is what will make or break your setup
The MP112 is a positive displacement blower.

OP...are you planning on running a boost ref regulator? You might not need a BAP if that's the case.

I mentioned ls9 or ls6 cam becuz they are very reasonably priced. Use gm cam and use hardened pr and good springs like duals or 918s, and still stay within range of just cam price. Although a custom grind would net better results. But sound like op is not in max effort for this build. So prolly max effort grind may not be needed

true. ls6/ls9 cams are decent budget cams for cheap without a doubt, i figure if the op is trying to make decent power on a small blower like a 112, a better suited cam will help him make the power hes looking for.

If you haven't sourced your 6.0L yet, consider a 5.3L. They're a dime a dozen and you'll make similar power with an MP112 on top. Torque may be slightly less; but, even with the 5.3L, low end grunt will be plenty. An MP112 on a 5.3L with LS6 or LS9 cam is a pretty sweet combo. You can put a bigger cam in there if you need the cam "music", but don't count on a big power increase over a milder cam.

I would say something along the lines of 228/236 114+2 or something a little bigger like a 232/240 115+1 would be ideal. It seems the EPP cam is really close to these specs and with it you can actually look up a certain combo with that cam and see what it made. If it were me I'd still ask Pat G or talk to EPS yourself. Good Luck!

Why not just get a lower mileage 5.7 Al engine? You're already adding a hundred lbs with the blower, then another hundred for an LQ4/9...plus all those donuts and beer catching up with you.... Just get a 2010 if youre set on 2 tons!

Either way, If you need to borrow a pin kit for the balancer gove me a call.

The EPP cam would be a horrible choice for the 112, you guys could not be further off!!!! This blower turns into a heat pump when you spin it that high and rotor slap at idle can be very annoying. Unless you are fine with it idling at 1100rpm lol?

Stay under 224 or get a real proven maggie cam like a GT2-3. My DD makes 500 to the tires with a 112 and the 224 cam that is in it is on the big side for the combo.

The higher compression LQ9 is the way to go with this little blower. Keep the blower speed at about 18k and it should make the number.

Yes the EEP cam is great on ATI setups and the like.
