Default Help me With My Possible Turbo Buil

Hey guys, I have been reading here, a lot lately. Recently the opportunity came up to buy a tubular manifold kit with a turbo(Ebay) and inter-cooler. This will not be on the car anytime soon, cause I want to buy everything I need first that way the car is not down for more than it has to be.

Specs on the camaro
Forged 347
LS6 Ported heads
232/236 114 LSA Cam
LS6 Intake with P/P TB
42# Injectors
Racetronix 255 pump (will add another)
Peformabuilt trans 3600 stall
4.11 Gears

Can I run that cam with low boost. I know my compression is 11.1. Do you guys suggest ditching the LS6 Intake and going with a Vic Jr.? Really not sure on which turbo I will be replacing this one with, or what wastegate and Blow off valve to get. Any help will be appreciated

Your fine with the LS6 intake. I would look to try and find some cheap 317 heads and swap those for the 243s though to lower compression a bit. How much power are you looking to make? What are the details on the hotside of the turbo kit?

Its the PTK reproduction kit. Honestly 6-8 psi is enough for my first turbo car I think.

Good fuel is also key. 10lbs, 11+:1, and 87 octane is a recipe for disaster.

If your just trying to be conservative I'd keep it around 7-8 lbs and don't spin the motor too high with 98' rod bolts.
