Any value to using meth without meth tune?

Any value to using meth without meth tune? I am interested in getting a meth kit to keep my engine safe and have a factor of safety if I run into bad fuel, and it would be nice to take advantage of the cooling as well not just the octane boost. I dont have interest right now to use it to gain more power just the added safety it gives the engine.
Can I benefit from it without having a meth specific tune done? How will it effect the performance of the car by using meth but not have it tuned for it?

Make sure you use 100% methanol, as a 50-50 mixture with water added tends to put the flame out on boosted applications. Bob

Its a D1SC car so its a boosted application. I do have a wideband its an AFX.
The car just got finished at IPS, they did the tune for me. It put down really good power, more than I expected but it does have more boost than I thought it would too. 595hp/533tq at 10psi.

Whever I purge my snow boost cooler, it goes rich for a minute or so and I also run it up to 3000rpm when I purge it before I make my first passes to make sure the lines are free and clear. Without re-tuning your car will run really rich.
I also run the 99% M1 Methanol from World Wide Racing Fuels (just the place I happen to get mine) and it has awesome cooling properties. I know it's not good for your skin, but it you ever happen to get some on your hand it will feel like you stuck it in a fridge. Science is cool after all I guess
