It will certainly make it easier to service.

Just ordered mine too! Tired of removing the alternator in order to get to the driver-side motor mount.

Another idea, here's mine. Someone might consider this design as a kit. Stainless shaft is supported by 3 bearings. All stock ratio. It is very much out of the way. Just a one off design. The best looking alternator is one you cant see...

Alright guys. Just ordered mine and everything looks straight forward except the wiring. I haven't seen anyone post on this but I just skimmed through the thread. I doubt the wiring for the plus is long enough stock but if so great! If not was is required? Thanks guys!

I have a bracket that puts the alt down passenger side bottom where the ac compressor was has a spring loaded tens and a idler pully to make sure no belt slip.

It's one wire that goes into the pigtail. If you have to extend it go to autozone and get yourself a strand of wire and splice in more wire...

Thank you sweet99ss. I know where the wire is from factory. I just wanted to know if someone on here that has used this relocation kit could let me know if I will need to extend it or not so I can be prepared.

The wire just needs to be extended a few inches. Then it can be routed under the tb and to the alternator.

Bumping this up.
Thinking about buying one because my current relocation kit keeps throwing belts off the crank pulley.
Anyone using this with aftermarket rails and a 45* on the passenger rail instead of a 90*?
Not a huge deal to change but figured id ask. I'm planning on using the stock alt with out the cooling duct back, just the standard back cover off another alt.
