98blownz28 looks the best to.me. just because its a nice big hole for the air but with the two supports so its not completley empty imo.

I have been debating how to do this also on my fmic. I was wondering, has anyone tested a fmic temps before and after cutting the bumper up?

Reason i ask is the inter cooler isn't as wide as the stock openings in the bumper. I'm thinking about building air damns to push all the air in towards the intercooler, thus i don't have to cut the center section out.... if that makes any since. use some black plastic to push all the air from the outer part of the opening towards the intercooler i would think have enough air flow??? I really don't want to cut the center of the bumper out since it is more of a street car then track car. Anyone do this?

Here are a few of mine...photo sharing sites are blocked at work, so this is the best I could do. Might be a bit different, as mine is a 94 front end. I trimmed out the bumper and mounted it inside. I also created a support bar for the front bumper support so that it wouldnt rest against the intercooler.

For fine cutting and trimming, you can also use a dremel.
