Default What reducer coupler for LS1 TB and 3" intercooler plumbing?

I measured my LS1 TB with a tape measure, and apparently I thought it was 4" diameter, so I ordered a 3" to 4" silicone coupler for my 3" intercooler plumbing. I got the coupler today, and it is just a shade too big on the TB side, which leads me to believe that maybe I actually needed a 3.75". Also, I ordered a straight/180* coupler and was wondering if a 45 or 90* would mate up to the plumbing easier?

4" is the correct size. Once you put a clamp on the silicone coupler it will tighten it up.

Really? It didn't seem to me like a clamp would tighten it up without it binding and leaking. I'll try tomorrow then. Thanks!
