The compressor housing on the PT is larger than the TC by a bit. Turbine side is the same, and they bolt in interchangeably on the hot side. See my thread here for comparison pics.

With these numbers, if $$$ was not a problem, why would one run the TC78?
Faster spool, tighter space. Some guys want that roots style blower feel.
