Holden WH Statesman, 390ci + S400 build
Hi guys,
I thought you might be interested in seeing a build from over the other side of the pond here in Australia.
This is a first time build for me, never built an engine or turbocharged anything prior to this so go easy on me! I'm learning heaps and doing pretty well everything myself.
The car is a 2002 Holden WHII Stateman, which was originally an LS1 + 4L60e. It now has an AES 390ci package that I put together in an alloy LS2 block, with L92 heads.

- ARP everything
- Borg Warner S400SX3 Turbo (75mm, 1.10AR)
- NJCCorp custom reverse-split turbo cam
- Lunati dual valve springs
- Morel link-bar lifters
- Comp 7.375" hardened pushrods
- Powerbond 25% Underdrive pulley
- 60LB injectors
- SX fuel pressure regulator
- 3L surge tank with dual Bosch 044 fuel pumps
- Elite engineering catch-can
Brakes: Harrop 'Extreme' brake package
Exhaust: Custom Single 3.5" exhaust, ballistic 5" body racing cat, 100cpsi

- Eaton TrueTrac LSD centre
- 3.73:1 diff gears
- Harrop high volume diff cover
Gearbox/Transmission:
- T56 conversion
- Tex Z-grip clutch
- GM Motorsport RipShift 'Race'
- Braided clutch line
- Remote bleeder
Suspension:
- Pedders coilover with Bilstein B6 inserts

- Eibach 350LB linear rate front springs
- Eibach 600LB linear rate rear springs

- Nolathane poly radius rod bushes
- SuperPro 4-point camber kit
Wheels & Tyres: HSV VZ R8 19" wheels
Interior: Stock leather
Stereo:
- Alpine IVA-W202E headunit
- Alpine PXA-H701 digital processor
- Exodus Anarchy 6.5" woofers

Cheers guys. The car is basically a heavy, long-wheelbase luxury GTO. It currently weighs about 4600# so it'll certainly be a challenge to keep the driveline intact with the power.

Thanks guys. Nope, haven't had it on the dyno yet. I'm still finishing up some fuel system stuff before I increase the boost and get the tuned looked at. Just running 5psi at the moment.

Hey, just curious about the AES 390 you have, they seem like a pretty killer package.
Did you get the whole short from them or just the rotating assembly? and about how much did it cost you to ship it over here? Im just over the other side of the bay, SE Suburbs. Im pretty keen on getting a whole short
Cheers, Aaron

It's been awhile since I've updated this. I haven't really changed anything...
The car has been working really well and I'm enjoying it! I made a little change on the weekend just cleaning up the fuel line routing in the engine bay. Loom will be next...

Wow looks good Sirnemsis, good build, have you run it at the track yet?
Did you make up the pipping your self? love the look of the stato and the big turbo motor, killer combo with luxury

Haven't had any runs at the track yet, still want to clean up some more stuff and sort the tune out properly before I do.
All the piping was made by Shane @ GenRacing. Quality work too, I'm very happy with it.
