I'll be honest and tell you that this is all trial and error for me right now.
I have never had these issues before so I will be learning as I go.
Things we "plan" on trying this weekend are
1) increasing launch boost
2) playing with ramp time
3) increaseing launch RPM
4) working on spool time
I don't really know which will make the most difference, but we will be trying to figure it out.
If I could, I would chop 300lbs out of the car and I think that would solve a lot of problems.

- make sure boost is flatlined on the inital hit, change staging technique to facilitate it

".2 to .25 are good timer intervals for a top radial car"
You like to use T1 on the ams1000 to be set at .2 to .25 to hold the launch boost after the tb is released to settle the radial down?

Ain't that the truth!!! When I first put my 275's on, the first pass was a 2.1 60', made some adjustments and the next pass was a 1.2, haha! But if I ever spun my slicks, I would only lose like .1 from my 60'.

1) You can program your stage 1 timer to match the delay from the time you release the transbrake to the time you see wheel speed
2) You can program the stage 1 timer to start as soon as the transbrake lets go
Either way works, I use #1. My launch pressure is EXACTLY the same every time down to the tenth. With method 2, any slight variation once the transbrake lets go in fluid temp, operating temp, weather can increase the rate by 2-3# per second. May not sound like alot but for the inital hit it is.

Are you measuring the delay time to get wheel speed from the ds log on bs3?

Man, I just put 28" tires on my car today. I know I would need mini-tubs to make a 30" tire work, I could put a 29" slick back there with some fender rolling and a hammer, but I don't think I could fit 30's. I don't think I'll need anything more than a 28" tire with the power I have now anyways, you guys have 2x and 3-4x the power I do in some cases...
