So we went out yesterday at Norwalk and tested the 30" tires.
They cleared and they hook!
We can now leave on 7lbs of boost without spinning and the car was running like a bracket car yestereday.
we weren't going for broke, but the car went
8.02@181
7.99@182
7.98@182
Putting the new All pro 4500 cast intake, Todd Berry Elbow, and accufab 105mm TB on the car this week and hope to be out testing again next weekend.

I have some hoosier DOT radials 275/40/17 and no matter what I do, I cannot get better than a 1.8 60' on them. I put my ET drags on and I can get 1.5's or better though. It probably has to do with my crappy semi trailing arm setup.
The lowest pressure you run DR's at is like 20psi right? Otherwise the tread cups in the middle?

There are tons on my websit and flickr page www.carlyleracing.com
I've run 1.27 on the 28" tall ones, but so far only 1.36 on the 30" tires. The 30" tires really kill the stock 3.42 gear with a 210 first gear.
After testing with the new intake we may up the first gear if the 60' times don't drop back below 1.30
What is your best 60' on them?

Jesus man I have 31x10.50/15 on my grand cherokee lifted 2" to make them clear, they will clear on stock lift but they will rub at lock.
That's insane, any plans to bring the boost up to overcome the tire bringing the gear down so much? Your only option is that 3.42 right? Is that a Quafie diff?

It is a Quafie and 3.42 is the only option.

FWIW, all of the cars I consult with are on 3.50s or 3.40s, 1.80 low gear and a 30" tire.
