Procharger Question (filter location) My cone filter is mounted behind my left turn signal and I think its takeing on water when it rains. I was wondering what anyone has done to help this or prevent it. I have already ruined one MAF and dont want to drop another $250. I was thinking about Airconditioning Aluminum to block off the bottom of the car but dont want to rob power by blocking off air. What do you guys think.

i just used a longer tube and located the filter in the middle of the bumper ( right behind the license plate area).
i got the longer flex hose from granberry ( don't know if you have it there) but any good hose store should have 3.5 diameter flex hose.

Ya if I did that I would have to make 2 seperate 90 degree bends and I cut the front support and fiska to make room for the front mounted intercooler. Good Idea I might just try to bend it and take it up around the top of the engine compartment.
I have mine in the same spot, I just used a much bigger filter and jammed it in there!! Sorry your having trouble with your filter getting wet. I'm not. I don't know what to say. It's just Trial and error

Mine gets wet all the time when it rains really hard. What i do because i believe it works way better and i dont have a $7000 motor going south is i pull the flex hose off both side of the plenum and i install small screens over the holes of the plenum. I only do this for the ride home (8 miles) and then i garage the car and let it dry out and take the camary the next day if its still raining.
