I tore it apart because i cant seem to make myself happy, lol. The goat is nice bro, But its too nice to do what i did to it. I love that car, but **** man, 4000lb car with IRS. I know they can go fast, but id rather have a nice 400hp car for a driver, lol.

Dr. Turbo, how much extra width do i need to account for on the HP88 cover vs the standard cover? do you happen to have a pic of them side by side or can you tell me the difference?
Thanks! Kyle

Were you able to get dimensions of the 88 cover? I can grab some for you if not. I LOVE that turbo and appreciate DrTurbo for talking me into the upgrade. As you know I love this build too and am willing to help you out in any way.

My Biggest problem right now is figuring out how to mount this thing.
I need to run through your build thread to see how you did yours, i really badly wanted to mount it length wise with the car sticking through the front with a velocity stack for the track and make the opening big enough to slide a decent sized filter over it for street driving. But thats just me being stupid(maybe), none the less, the square car would look stupid with a round hole in the front, especially being the only round hole in the front. Call me picky, lol.
I thought about asking a photo shop buddy to make me a couple different pics showing different areas. Then their was the obvious other issues, HAVING to go to an A2W setup unless its mounted down low in the cover.
and the radiator issue for WHEN i do drive it on the street.
Anyhow, i think im going to have to order a new flange, a divided flange with a tab that sticks off of it like Blake used and build some kind of bracket/support that comes off the frame rails.
Im at a point where i stand in front of the car staring at it knowing what i wish i could do and what will actually work. Internal conflicts suck, lol
anyhow, yeah, id appreciate it if you could snag some dimensions for me so i don't mount it too close to the water pump.
ALSO, anyone with an electric water pump, do they stick off the motor farther then the stock pump? I want to also account for that for when i switch to an electric pump, which will more then likely happen when the new motor goes in.
anyway, enough rambling, lol. Sorry so long winded, just irritating when you know what you want to do,
feel free to comment on the idea of the turbo sticking our the front like i had mentioned, lol

You can always go with a remote electric water pump. Some places will even build it into the radiator.
EDIT: How have you guys (Forced Inductions) changed the labels on your Borg Warner units? I was used to the S, SX, and ST series. Is this HP88 the same as an S88?

I dont foresee my myself using a remote water pump. I really do like the meizere (spelling?) pumps and they look nice too boot. however, i guess if it ever came down to it and space was that big a concern, then i could certainly entertain that idea.

I havent even thought about a remote setup, im sure when the time comes ill look into that kind of stuff.
At the moment, i guess im just waiting for some new Vbands so i can build the kit. im using 2.25" for the cross overs into a single 3" into the t6 flange.
Im kind of thinking i might run the passenger side around the back of the motor and around the driver side and merge them over their. Not sure if that would be a bad idea or not, i know ive seen people doing it.
When we are talking 1000-1300hp will the big difference in pipe lengths from header to header hurt anything? I think this would be easiest for me to accomplish, thats why im wondering. Thanks.

It is my understanding that the S88 and the S400-HP88 are the same turbo, yes.
