FDs are cool but I love the look on peoples faces when they hear and see my car. A well done FC can and does look MEAN.

I agree they are a blast to drive. Hard to beat the bang for your buck with an FC. I had a lot of fun, and suprised a lot of people in my FC.

But I also have an FD, and I'm in love with that car. It does everything better than the FC. And when I park it and walk away, I always turn for a second look.

Im going to stay the course guys, just gonna do it, and if im not happy in the end, ill sell it and get into an FD and start over...

If the car can look as good as Blakes, ill be a happy camper.

I was a little bit pissed off about my rear suspension options after finding out i could only do a ladder bar setup and that makes me a little un happy. But of course, the GTO wouldve been in the same boat. My local class says, "no IRS, No four link" and only cars OEM equipped with a Torque arm can have those.

Ive contacted the locals for clarification, but they seem pretty cut and dry.

anyway, im staying the course, gonna pick up a set of Corvette manifolds from two people i know, each have one, lol. And rebuild the kit in two weeks time when the engine and trans go into the car.

it does everything better??

and can assure you fitting adequate size equipment for cooling, ect. is much easier in an FC, not to mention room to work on everything

They are both great platforms, i find it funny when people downplay the FC and FB

tell me what in a street/strip car the FD does so much better?

oh, and i always turn back for a second look at my car too

and glad to hear kyle is sticking with it

I am just here to say I love a nice FD or FC. I used to be more partial to the FD especially since I have owned a few but man as of late I have I have really loved some of the FC builds I have seen.

Im hoping mine can come out decent, its going to be interesting, My problem is i have an idea, a vision, of what i want it to look to like, then i start on that path, and loose train of thought, i have the vision, just not the attention to detail to make something look amazing,

Im really trying hard on this one to get my vision into/onto the car, its just difficult when your less the "good" at fabricating, lol.

Also, their might be some serious changes, in plans, in the back end of the car... But for now, i cant really talk to much about it.

No that's right PG's are LIGHT! That's why I'm seriously considering a PG right now. I know my 80e weighs about 250ish maybe more with fluid.
