well last of the parts needed arrived this week and finally going to have to some to get back on the car in a week, taking a vacation to lock myself in the garage until it's running.
and of course changed a few things again.
went with the holley dominator efi w/pretty much all options and using the screen for my dash lol. just sucks the relocation harness I made is now going in the garbage oh well
holley 90mm throttle body
hurst quarter stick w/button for line lock use for now
derale trans cooler w/fan and -8an braided lines for it
bmr th400 conversion crossmember
and a bunch of other little fittings I needed
so hopefully this ridiculously long build will be finally coming a close, well for now, winter time I"ll be swapping the rear and probably forging the motor.

I'm rooting for you man. My build is very similar. Same intake, 5.3, I'll have a big cam, and I have twins but also planning 30psi lol. Also will be th400. I'm excited to see what it puts out with a decent turbo at that level. I'll be watching.

got a few little things done yesterday, fitted the dash and center console, rear lca relocation brackets, adapter for oil feed to turbo. Going to try and knock out some more wiring today and tomorrow and see if I can get some noise out of this thing this weekend hopefully. Also pressure washed it since it hasn't been washed in over 3 years and spent 2 sitting in a field lol

not too much, been busy working on other peoples cars and my other little project car.
Getting back on it this spring, should have it out by May finally.
not much left to go.

always keep changing my mind, have to learn to stick to the plan lol.

ended up switching to a holley dominator setup (all wired minus power and ground) new brake booster and master, manual steering rack, etc

just some wiring to finish up and front brake lines to make then I can finally bolt the turbo kit in permanently.
changed to qa1 double adjustables all around coil overs in front.

honestly maybe got about 5 hours of work into the car in the last year or so.

I feel so lazy seeing that denmah's spit out like 15 cars in the time I"ve been working on this heap lol.

been sidetracked working on the house and some other cars. it's coming out this fall though. last few months have been getting the little cobalt ready to race a few events
few more details to work out and it'll be up and running.
was on hold for a bit since I no way to take it out because I can't register it anymore.
just picked up a truck 2 weeks ago, so got some motivation to finish it finally.
