my roomates car that I tuned, has the exact same setup, but with out of the box 317's and ran on 93 with 60# injectors. he put a little over 550rwhp on 10lbs. 6 speed car. When the rod bolts let go he forged it and now runs 14.5# with a little help from methanol (to be on the safe side). No dyno numbers with the new setup, its all been street/track tuned. You can youtube boostedcatfish to see some videos of the car. he's been 11.30's @ 133 on some 275 drag radials and a 6 speed.

That's good to hear. I am hoping it runs well. It will get a forged motor next year sometime.

Cold Side, BOV is in transit to the house. Josh is drop shipping the clamps, couplers, and fans. Going to drop the tank this weekend, and will send the bucket to Lonnies for the twin pump assembly. Josh is refunding me money on some gauges, and when the money arrives, I will be purchasing the AEM Tru Boost Controller and the LC-1 Wideband. Should have it ready for gears and tune the first of March.

be sure to post up after you get the car tuned. im curious how you will like the 3.73s with boost.. I have them too but was considering switching them out for 3.50s or running a 28" tire if the gears are too short

I changed my mind on the Gears. Will be putting in 3.54s instead.

if you can build some boost at the line, you will run better than 11.30's .....and hook. great thread.

Received the cold side, intercooler, and BOV yesterday. A buddy (NINE8TA), has already cut the bumper support for me and started working on getting it mounted. We will get it mounted this weekend and hopefully a few more parts if they come in.

Got a few things done this weekend

-A buddy (THENASCAR) swapped my springs and seals for me. Apparently a put a few seals on a little tight when I put the PRC springs on a year ago.
-Another buddy (NINE8TA) decided he would cut the bumper with a box cutter. He did a hell of a job and we got it cleaned up. We will be using the dremel on the SLP grille insert in the next few weeks.
- NINE8TA cut up my old bumper support for me at work this week and we got the intercooler mounted. Welded a piece of 3/8 steel on the inside for some added support. Worked out pretty good.

Well spoke with Josh today. Precision is back ordered for 2 more weeks. We decided instead of .96 ar, that he has a pt7675 .81 AR at the shop. He is going to send me this turbo. He was nice enough to offer when I wanted to change to a .96 AR housing he would swap them for me. Great guy for sure. I should have the front buttoned up on the car this weekend.

I think the pt7675 81 AR will be fine and enough for a stock bottom end build, but we will be builing a motor sometime down the road and will move up to the .96 housing. I only plan on spinning the stock bottom end to 6k anyway.

yeah holding it at 6k will sure help the rod bolts out among other things. I am curious to see what your tq numbers will be.

NINE8TA anodized the intake pipe for me. Turned out pretty good. 7 coats of anodize and 4 of clear.

That's the duplicolor metalcast paint works well for what it is and the clear helps it to pop looks like red candy paint should look good on the car now i need to get that radiator support to get it smoothed and sprayed.
