KY turbo Build: Stock Btm End

few updates
We got the drain figured out friday night. Used a 30 degree fitting off the turbo into the straight fitting in the timing cover. I will get some pics tomorrow.
Built tabs for the fans and got them mounted to the radiator. Wired them and installed them today.
Plan on putting in the gas tank this week or weekend. After than, just have to finish plumbing the cold side and put the downpipe on. It will be going to Fuel Injection for gears, gauges, and a few other items.

A pic of the engine bay with the charge pipe. The dang charge pipe is resting on the turbo though, so we will have to figure something out. We loaded it up this morning and took it to Fuel Injection. They will be completing the tune, gears, and a few other little things. Also, stopped to fill up with some e85. Nothing wrong with 16 gallons of high octane fuel for 50$.

Update: Got the gears in. I am in the process of sending back the .81 housing. Just couldn't get over having to settle for something I didn't want to begin with. Precision is sending me .96 AR. I also just purchased the Kurt urban water vapor system. With the .96 AR, I am hoping for 550 rwhp on 8-10 lbs.
Also, looked into shortblocks this week. AES had a nice deal on a 370 and talked to Texas Speed about a forged ls2 shortblock. I found a combo on here with pt76gts on a forged ls2 that made some great power.

Got it on the dyno yesterday with a 7.5lb spring in the 46mm Precision wastegate. It creeped to 12lbs and we shut it down at 4700 rpms. It made 505 rwhp and 545 tq with 11 degrees of timing.
Spoke to precision this morning about our boost creep problems, and they believe it is the way the wastegate and merge was built that is causing the creep problems. They said since there isn't an exhaust on the car, that there isn't enough back pressure.
They wanted us to see if it would make boost at all with the wastegate completely off the car. If it does, the angle of the outlet is the problem. My tuner is contacting Josh at kentucky to see what he has to say.

Dynoed the car yesterday on Fuel Injection's Mustang dyno. We made a pull with the new 3 inch bullet, the car made 489 rwhp on 12 degrees timing at 9.5 lbs pulling it to 5200 rpm. That was with the 7.5 lb spring in the wastegate. This was with the car spinnning on the dyno.
We pulled the bullet off, and made another pull to 5400 rpm. The car made 595 rwhp on 13 degrees timing and the boost creeped to 12.5 lbs. Attached is the graph from the second pull.
It goes back on the dyno in about an hour with the bullet to finish the tune. On 10lbs, we think it will make 540 rwhp with 13 degrees timing pulling it to 6k. Also, the car is on e85.

Finished the tune tonight. Had to shut it down because of more boost creep issues. Luckily it didn't get out of control till 5800 rpms. On 12.5lbs with 12 degrees of timing, the car made 602 rwhp at 5800 rpms. Going to put a 50mm waste gate on the car in the next few weeks and extend the exhaust out the back to help fix the boost creep problems. Hopefully get the boost down below 10lbs and put a couple degrees of timing back in it.

how in the hell was your car spinning on the dyno at under 600 rwhp? I hear this all the time. I have owned a dyno for nearly 10 years, and can only think of ONE car that had a traction problem on it. I have dynoed several 1000+ rwhp cars, and never once an issue like that. What kind of boost controller are you running? How do you have it hooked up?
