There are different turbine wheel options most likely. With only a 5.3, you'd be fine with the smallest which I think is probably a 83mm turbine. They go all the way up to a 96 I think. I'd look more into what size the turbine wheel is and see what AR options are available and we'll go from there.

yeah the smaller housing will help but the general rule of thumb is under 400cid its a T4 flange and over is a T6. youll need a Tbrake and a 2 or 3 step to get it going. a monster turbo cam will help and so will teh nitrous, if you run the rpms up a little higher too but thats dangerous with stock rods. Definitely recommend ARP rod bolts

yes that sounds perfect, even with a a T4 1.00 it will still be capable of well over your power goals but it will work very well on a drag setup and auto tranny, still going to need teh 2 step and Tbrake but once the light turns green itall rocket.
is this a street car, race car, both? give some other details on teh rest of the car

Yeah it will be a street strip car just got it so not really sure where to go with the suspension thinking qa1 coil overs front and rear with a mini tub turbo 400 trans with tbrake all ready have a ten point roll cage in it and a sn95 8.8 is there any thing else I should look into like what would be a good stall converter to go with?
thank you guys for all the help again it is much appreciated

Most turbo set ups work great with dual pattern or reverse pattern cams.

Def go with a T4 flange. No need for a T6 when your goal is only 600-750 HP.
Also saw that you are taking the blow through route...good luck. A buddy of mine never got his turbo blow through setup to work, but I know it can be done pretty well.
