Default Power steering line kit options???

Hi everyone,

I am currently developing a power steering line kit for the front mount turbo guys.

I would like to know if you have any issue with us eliminating the power steering line cooling tube. We would be able to keep the price point lower and it would make things a lot easier.

Also any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Your thoughts?

Here is what we have so far:

I haven’t had any issues running without a cooler, car is on skinnies.

0 issues here as well. Drive the car to work 50 miles one way, in 90 degree weather, and steering is fine. I'm down for a good replacement kit, tired of these ugly hoses.

Sounds great I figured no one would care, especially since the LT1 cars don't even have it.

We will post up an info thread as soon as they are ready.

We are hoping to keep the price super affordable too. We don't want anyone to have an excuse not to buy it

Not all ls cars have it either. Make sure you use Teflon lined hose for the pressure side.

I run my car mostly drag and street but occasionally i do thrash the ever living crap out of it on the autoX courses with the big tires on all 4's. Ive got my hoses converted to AN already but if you do find (or create) a decent ps fluid cooler that actually works im interested. Maybe make it an option?

I'd like at least the pressure hose from the pump to the steering rack. I plan to put a frame rail mounted PS cooler in line on the return side and mount it just behind the plastic air dam.

What are the chances of making a ps delete kit to loop the rack with the option of putting it back on if wanted? I hate to cut the lines to loop it, but I'd like to try the car out w/ou ps. Right now the pulley is hitting my Stainless Works up and fwd headers, and I want to explore the options for fixing the issue.

I removed my cooler as well. No issues here. Count me in as one of your customers for this kit

Chris and I have come to a decision.
We are going to setup a kit where you can use the stock cooler or delete it.

If someones needs require anything outside of this they will have to fend for themselves.

There will not be 2 kits, only 1. if you choose to delete the cooler you will have extra hoses in your tool box.

The hoses will be SS braided Teflon, the fittings will be pre-crimped.
The kit will contain all the necessary fittings to do the job.

We should have kits ready in late September.

I will update this thread with prices as soon as I can.

All you need is two rack fittings and a short SS braided line. Probably 35-40 to do it.

Anybody have a drawing/diagram of how the lines would be looped? I want to loop them for a while until I'm able to pop for a manual setup.

From the feed of the rack to the return of the rack...the two fittings beside each other that the pump goes to now.

The kit will have -6AN Fittings that screw into the feed and return ports on the rack.
The high pressure hose will have -6 fittings crimped on each end.
You can loop it if you are not running a pump.
