I've been daily driving since my car has been back on the street and have not had any issues other than tightening a few bolts and replacing a couple worn out pieces from before the built that I never got to. The car behaves great and I like having 600+ ready when I need it.

stock bottom end 346/D1SC/Meth

I only daily drive mine in the winter time as I had to remove the A/C to fit my kit and Florida is too hot this time of year. I run E85, on or off the track. Details in sig. Off boost, the car is a kitten.

Ive got an LS7 shortblock that im looking to build for turbos but it will be in a street car. Any suggestions on compression pistons and anything else?

i drive mine a ton when its not 100 degrees out. havent been driving it recently as its sitting on my fats and skinnies waiting for my new M&H tires to come off back order (3 weeks, then 4, then 5, then DAMNIT!!!)

You could redo your passenger side with a c6 manifold and put A/C back in

Whats up man! Met ya at Mark's the other night. Hopefully mine is done soon and I'll be daily driving it in the summer. Gotta love turbo motors for driveability.

Seems like majority has either less 12 lbs of boost have meth to which is interesting how long does meth usaully last u guys on the street and does anyone use the poor mans meth washer fluid lol

My Z71 is my daily every day driver. I drive it back and forth from Ca to Colorado winter, and summer. Below zero cold start ups in Co, and Idling with the A/C on in 100+ vegas and Ca summer. Only problem I have that is a consistent pia is meth leaks. It's either the res, a fitting, a line, or the washer motor it's self. Also been thru a couple flex pipes, one on the crossover pipe, and one between the WG, and DP. Think they rusted from condensation.

How do the spool characteristics compare between the 408 and 370 on the street with the 6speeds? My car is a 347 Pt88 6speed(8.5:1,Ported 317s, TU1 Cam 3.50 gears). Im hoping to get it tuned next week. I dont mind a little lag, but im alittle concerned there will be a ton of lag. I mainly built it for highway pulls.

you should go auto. your going to hate that M6

how come? Im aware autos are better for turbo cars in pretty much every area, but im not racing competitively at the strip. My last two cars were A4s, and im really enjoying the m6 now.

im geussing my 347 wont start to spool until around 4000. well at least i will be moving before the ****** kicks in. I plan on taking it up to 7000 rpm anyway.
