How many daily drive
I get 15-16mpg in town solely, and 20-23mpg on the highway. I avg. 17mpg most the time due to more city driving. With a 3800 stall, 3.55's and a power robbing heavy *** drivetrain in my car I'd say that's pretty good not to mention it weighs 3950 with me in it!
Oh btw my car has 90k on it and has been boosted for 5 years on stock internals. Will yours last that long, probably not, why mine has? I couldn't tell you
Having a fast boosted car that you can drive anywhere reliably will make you so much happier and leave your mind at ease knowing it won't overheat or break down on you in stop and go traffic.Like Blue00zzleeper said only problems I have had out of mine was my fault everytime and occured at the track or due to racing at the track. Nothing I couldn't fix or someone else couldn't, but you will always find yourself wiring this, fixing that, making this better, cleaning that up, etc. If your not doing that everyday it's not that the car doesn't need it, it means your just not into the car. I know I am always doing something to mine not because it needs it, but because I think it needs it
Big difference there.Edit added: Also when I go to the track I'll only have less than a quarter tank of pump 93 (around 3 gallons) and I'll put at least 2 gallons of Sunoco Leaded 110 and/or I've been using VP116 lately. I do use m1 in the form of a boost cooler and I run 11psi on my PT76GTS. I run solely 93 on the street with meth.
Only problems I have encountered:
Replaced belt
Rebuilt 4l80 transmission good for 1000rwhp
Wiring and more wiring

I haven't had many problems just cruising everything has been WOT / Racing issues. Weak coils when I first did the coil had lots of misfires up top. Twisted my slip yoke at the track launching, rear end gears whine more, damn 6000 + rpm clutch dumps on slicks are not good I tell you. Just found out my meth nozzle area is a huge boost look and my fast intake gaskets are leaking... Damnit more work! Runs around 190 degrees cruising above 50 mph and around 205 in traffic but 205 is where my 2nd fan kicks on. I'm running a stock bottom end ls1 which has 129,000 miles on it now, I've put on 4000 miles so far this year with the turbo stuff. I just fried my alternator from being retarded while doing a spring swap (ALWAYS disconnect your battery when working around your alternator). Didn't start my spring swap until sunday afternoon and finished at 5 am, fried my damn alternator and I was 100 miles away from work. Never do car projects on sunday when you have to work on monday. Would be really nice to have my own shop where I live and not 100 miles away. Everything I do has to be done on the weekends and be able to drive back home to work monday...
I've had my car setup this way since around '04
Stuff that breaks:
Rear end stuff: 2 sets of gears, one diffy in last 7 years
Stock T56: bought the farm after 6 years
Clutches: I've been through 3 in the last 7 years. McCloud, Ram, and now on a twin disk
Supercharger: D1SC died after 6 years.
S/C and drive belts: Been through 3 in the last 7 years
Tires: Jesus do I go through tires
Charge tubing: had to change out several pieces
I think the above stuff is related to having the supercharger on. Other than that, it is the normal f-body stuff (window motors, lights, HAL shocks etc...)
FWIW most of the stuff that breaks on my car is the aftermarket stuff. It just doesn't go the distance.
I've got a built motor at 30k+ and I expect to have to change that in the next couple year or so.
