t04e too small?
This turbo is a t04e that i cant find specific specs for however ita a t4 and 3in dp. 3 inch inlet and 2 inch outlet on intake side. And a 50 trim inducer.
Is this going to be a restriction? And how much of one?
Thanks!

Ok. Kinda what i Expected from searching about it. Soo 7 psi with this turbo wont do close to what the same psi with bigger?
I thought the lack of flow would result in low pressure but occasionally it will go to 10(new wastegate coming soon)

It is not so much that it won't do it, so much as the fact that it will be WAY out of its efficiency range very quick. Out of its efficiency range means 2 things:
1. It is going to rapidly be inefficient and will produce a hotter and hotter charge on the compressor side.
2. The turbine wheel will start becoming a choke point and drive up backpressure in the exhaust.
So, can it be done? Yes. Is it a good idea? Not really.

That is about a 400-450 max hp turbo before it starts getting pushed a bit farther than it should be taken. People push all kinds of turbos beyond what they should be...but it is not good for the turbo or the motor. It can hold boost, but at the expense of spinning the turbo way to fast and going outside its efficiency range.

hmm... Well the car isnt doing that... I mean it trapped 109mph at 4psi... had some minor boost leaks and clutch seemed to slip slightly but did 112mph before. regardless no more messing around... turbo is to be gone.... That fake ptk kit was tooo much of a pita to let it suffer from a restrictive turbo...
Thanks again
