great setup, surprised the heads are not lifting, but happy they are not, as I'm building a similar setup for my old car lol.

Very Nice Setup!

I have a very similar setup to your other than I'm I'm only running a 76GTS turbo and it's just way too small for my 408! I am leaning heavily toward the GT88, but am worried about slow spooling on the street.

How Quick does it build boost on the street?

Thanks.

no brake boosting, 900 and some change. SW always jumped first and I wasn't the only person he did this to

the other issue is your weight, you are probably over 4 k with a passenger arent ya? I have a 408 with a 6 spd and a gt 47-88. ls9 gaskets and e 85 just like you. ive been running for about a year now and i wanna take a run at some guys down there this coming year. I ve actually been out to Ks before and seen some of your guys street scene, it was fun. I was out there when skinnies had that prototype of the nano setup on his ta.

I noticed in the video on the last few pulls fuel pressure falls, so the pumps are starting to reach their limits. The boost a pump I installed is doing very well and help me add the extra power a few got to see this weekend.

The exhaust housing should help quite a bit if you can get ahold of one.

As far as spool, its very quick on the 408, similar to a 76 on a 347.

I'm amazed that it is holding together at that kind of boost level. It'll be interesting to see the longevity out of it. Have a link to the race video?

I saw this car first hand. Awesome job guys Automagic, Skinnies, max, and Justune, made incredible incredible fi drivers, from first hand watching a 120 cruise, making numerous passes and no trailers,
And Justune, Max, Skinnies on stock short blocks! It was incredible. Cars with this much power and not spending bank very impressed. Home built some very clean work too! The turbo world needs these guys in desirable places with rather large incomes. They know their stuff. Props also this weekend to the others not fi too Stangkiller always represents. You almost had me until the ac idea Came to play.

It spooled a lot faster than we thought it would. The 347 i think is just a hair longer getting to full boost that 408 with the gt-88 gets to full boost FAST. I'd have no problem putting my 347 back in my car and going racing

i spoke with the engineer that designed the ls9 gaskets. they have twice the active sealing layers than the regular gen4 gaskets. So in theory should be able to hold about twice as much pressure
