Default Is it safe to say my MAF is maxed out?

First thanks to kp for helping me figure out what to look for and for showing me what he saw wrong with my car, he is a great guy

Here is a partial WOT log from my dyno...
freq gm/s rpm
11414 439.2 5085
11928 439.2 5850
11896 439.2 5668
11550 439.2 5510
11896 439.2 5559
11896 439.2 5563
11896 439.2 5602
11896 439.2 5668
11997 439.2 5696
12171 439.2 5759
11750 439.2 5816

My injector pw were at 91-92% too, so bigger injectors here I come. Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Will a maxed maf make the car feel like its power has plateaued(sp?) or peaked on the dyno?
Looks like lee was right when he said that the cogs will make the s/c put out max cfm.
whaddayall think? Harlan, anyother gurus?

Guess I posted this in the wrong area. Can a Mod or Admin move it to the PCM/Diagnostic section please.

Mine maxes out right at 5000 rpm. It still pulls normally to 6000 and doesn't go lean. Detroit Speedworks tuned around it. I'm not sure of the specifics of how to do it though.

maf wont make it feel like its plateau'd(sp?) but the leaning wide open afr resulting from it will.. at just before the rpm where you can at earliest expect the maf to flatline, go the PE table and start adding in fuel from there up more and more for higher and higher rpm. then go back and chip away at the curve until your afr stabilizes through the transition.

for injectors i reccomend the mototrons.

back when i had a maf mine would max about 3600rpm

this dfi stuff is fun!

Thanks MM, you are right.. it leaned out past that point big time. I wish I could afford a DFI system right now that would be awesome I want to ditch this maf already. I *might* be ok with 42.5's up here but man those mototrons look good right now. My speed inc rails are on the way, ADJ FP reg is going on too and I will be getting some 42.5's from Bos. Hopefully that plus more tuning will get it squared away and making some good power. Thanks for some great advice on the tuning Dave.

it should be a slightly exponential curve once its perfect.. flat until 5krpm then swoop up like the beginning of the maf curve looks

if you want you can send me your file and i can approximate it for you, it would definitely be better for the engines life than how it was now.. just send your o2's vs rpm and your edit file and ill fool with it.
