Default SELL FAST INTAKE or KEEP IT

I just ordered a LG G5XB camshaft to replace my n/a cam since i am going with a supercharger for my 2002 C5Z. I already have a 92mm FAST intake and a LS2 TB on the car. Should i keep the FAST intake/TB or switch back to a LS6 intake/tb? Some say the FAST leaks, cracks, etc under boost. What is the psi limit for the FAST? Is there a limit or is it just any amount of psi? Or is the 92mm FAST okay under boost? My G5XB should be here this week and i will be starting my cam swap. SOOOO i would like to make my mind up on the FAST intake before i get the cams swapped out and need to pay for the retune lol. SELL or KEEP?

Are you comparing same boost of the LS2 intake to the FAST intake? Say if you were running 15 psi with the LS2, increase boost after the switch to the FAST and run 15 psi, I will bet the FAST intake is making for power.

thanks guys. I am still not sure about what to do lol. Plus it is hard selling a part that is so new for cheap. BUT for my build an LS6 intake would be more than enough since i am not looking for max numbers. I would like to hear from some ppl or even vendors about their exp with a 92mm FAST with FI. I have seen a few post about the 102mm FAST but i thought i read it is made stronger.

I have run a 90mm FAST Intake without any issues up to 18 psi for several years. Since you already have a FAST 92 then I would keep it. You will make more power on the same boost as a LS6 intake or make the same power at less boost.

What about porting the FAST/TB? I know it helps with n/a builds so i know it should make a diff in supercharged application. Yes it is a lot of money for the amount of rwhp/rwtq but if i keep why not lol. Unless the porting would make the intake weaker. From what i have read/been told the LS2 TB responds well to porting (throttle response). Thanks

My FAST 90 is ported and I have had no issues with it. If I got another FAST intake, I would port it.

fast units are way thicker than OEM pieces, they even weigh 3 pounds more and thats alot for plastic. so they will hold up longer.

the storys you hear of them blowing up are from detanation under boost and nitrouse, but i rather the intake be the giving point than have a metal intake and have detonation that blows up the whole motor.

Some of the truck intakes make more power than a LS6 intake. I gained 33 rwhp with a ported fast + underdrive over my LS6 intake N/A.

92mm fast/ls2 tb made 5 rwhp/3 rwtq more than the ls6 intake/stock tb on my car on the same dyno/tuner as before. This was after the car was tuned for the fast intake. N/a results and sae/dynojet

Was that with stock heads? I think underdrive's are worth 5-10 hp, some people have gained 12.
