Thanx! Seems we can't have good routing for such intercoolers in our f-bodies... Nevertheless, I think it will outflow conventional cross-flow type

How do you like this IC in the end? Do you have any data, like pressure drop or IATs?
I'm thinking of getting Treadstone too, just don't know if I want vertical flow or conventional design...

Honestly i couldn't tell you, Once i installed it i started working on the tune. teaching my self. but then developed an oil leak witch i thought was my rear main. So i dropped the tranny and replaced it. but still leaking, so next when i get some time im going to pull the intake and look ant the oil pressure unit. I did log some data before this, But i don't recall what the temps were, and my laptop crashed and lost all the data. But going to try and get to the leak in the next week or two and start working on the tune again. As soon as i do.

Actually just remembered i did post a log over on efilive. the last time i took it out. just looked it up and the average IAT was around 89 F, witch im guessing it would of been high 70s out like it usually is at night in Hawaii. if you use eflive you can find the file at.

Just be sure to open the Treadstone box outside. I had a giant cockroach climb out of the box when I opened it. It wasn't anything like I've ever seen in California either. It was huge! Great intercooler though. My tuner said it worked well.

I'm sorry is it 22lbs or 32?? 22 seems a bit too low for what is considered to be "heavy" intercooler

I really haven't run my car much since then to be honest. Got busy with a move. then had an oil leak that took me a while to trace down. And now slowly working on the tune. Since i cant seem to find anyone out here on this island that is any good at tuning. Im in a slow process of building a 408 for it. And once that is done im sure ill ship to Oahu or another island for a tune. But not going to bother with that for this motor. Ill just keep working on it my self.

I've bought this same intercooler. Doubt I will have the results any time soon though, as my current ebay 4.5" IC flows reasonably (though pressure drop across it goes as high as 5 psi)

I went ahead and bought it. I mocked it up and looks like it should fit reasonably well. OP, id be curious to see how you routed the pipe up to the higher end tank on the drivers side. Have any more pictures?
